EXCURSIONS:
Guided routes of various lengths to Koli National Park depart from Ukko-Koli. Short routes include Huippujen kierros (1.4 km) and Kolinuuron kierros (3.5 km).

BEST SANDY BEACHES:

Merilänranta, Hiekkaniementie 12 
According to many, the best sandy beach in Koli is Koli Camping's beach on the Loma-Koli side. Anyone can come to enjoy the beach in Pielinen and from the Camping you can rent e.g. kayaks or sup-boards or buy ice cream.

Hiekkasaaret
Rent a boat from Koli Camping, for example, and rush a short trip to the nearby paradise islands with the whole family. Soft sand, campfire sites and memorable memories on the islands of Pielinen are promised.

Rykiniemi beach
Long quiet sandy beach on the shore of Pielinen. There is a campfire place and the beach will remain shallow for a really long time. As a fun extra, you can find the opportunity to cross the Herajoki River with the help of a wading cable near the Rykiniemi car park.
